The DW-S ultrasonic flowmeters are based on two ultrasonic sensors that are positioned in opposite positions. The delay time of the sound depends on the flow rate. Both sensors work alternately as a transmitter and receiver. The delay time difference is proportional to the flow rate. The DW-S flow meter measurement system operates, unlike other ultrasonic measuring systems, parallel to the liquid flow. This system provides high accuracy, excellent dynamics and the ability to measure very high flow rates without reducing cross-section in a very compact design.
